1. Stockholm Archipelago, Sweden

          Visiting the larger islands in the archipelago is easy all year round.The most unique and spectacular of all is Stockholm Archipelago. Its a vast, fan-shaped maritime world of more than 24,000 islands, islets and skerries.The vast archipelago stretches more than 62 miles from north to south over emerald waters best explored via kayak, canoe, sailboat, or classic white ferry.In summer, the Archipelago is a paradise for sailors and other boaters from all over northern Europe, but it’s also accessible to visitors travelling by public transport.

2. Istria, Croatia

           It has More than 40 beaches on 333-mile coast have earned a coveted Blue Flag.There are a number of inland Istrian towns and villages which are well worth a visit. These include Buje, Motovun, Pazin and Hum - supposedly the world's tiniest town although at only 17 residents, it's little more than a village!

Climate: Summers are usually warm during the day and cooler near the evening, although strange heat wave patterns are common.With the highest air temperature averaging 24 °C during August.

3. Azores, Portugal

          The archipelago of the Azores is composed of nine major islands and is located in the North Atlantic Ocean.
Climate: Daily maximum temperatures usually range between 15 °C (59 °F) and 25 °C (77 °F).
